WHAT XE IS

XE is a Layer 1 network built for machines and AI agents. Every machine holds its own account, and can find, pay, rent and talk to any other, with nobody in the middle.

Instead of one chain that every payment waits on, XE Lattice gives every account a chain of its own, so payments never queue and cost no fees. On top of that, the network gives every machine an identity it owns, a way to find other machines, a way to rent and lease compute, and a way to message by account.

Businesses use four services built on it: XE Contracts, XE Images, XE Nets and XE Machines. XE is open source, runs on machines its owners operate, and is live on testnet.
